Day 1: Jaisalmer to Desert Camp
2:00 PM – Pickup from Jaisalmer
Your desert camping experience can begin with pickup from your hotel, railway station or another convenient location in Jaisalmer. Travel towards the desert area by private car or other selected vehicle.
3:00 PM – Arrival at Sam Sand Dunes
Reach the desert camp and complete the check-in process. Take some time to relax, enjoy a welcome drink and explore the camp surroundings.
4:00 PM – Camel Safari Begins
In the afternoon, begin your camel safari through the Thar Desert. Sit comfortably on the camel and travel across the sandy landscape. The camel moves slowly, allowing you to enjoy the peaceful surroundings and take photographs.
5:00 PM – Sunset at the Sand Dunes
Reach a suitable point on the dunes to watch the sunset. The golden light creates beautiful views across the desert. This is also a good time for photography and enjoying the quiet atmosphere.
6:00 PM – Return to Desert Camp
After sunset, return to the camp. Relax in your tent and enjoy some tea or snacks. You can also spend time walking around the camp and experiencing the desert environment.
7:30 PM – Rajasthani Cultural Program
The evening becomes lively with traditional Rajasthani folk music and dance performances. Local artists may perform traditional songs and dances around a bonfire, giving visitors an opportunity to experience the culture of Rajasthan.
8:30 PM – Traditional Dinner
Enjoy a buffet dinner featuring popular Indian and Rajasthani dishes. Depending on the selected camp package, the menu may include dal, baati, churma, vegetables, roti, rice and other local dishes.
9:30 PM – Bonfire and Stargazing

Day 2: Desert Camp to Jaisalmer
7:00 AM – Sunrise Experience
Wake up early to enjoy the cool desert morning. Watching the sunrise over the dunes is another beautiful experience and a good opportunity for photographs.

Enjoy breakfast at the camp before checking out. Take some final photographs and spend a little time enjoying the surroundings.
